Live country music for weddings, corporate events and private parties. Solo up to a seven piece band, all sound equipment included.
Hear it first
Originals, the classics, and a good deal of country that never made it to the radio. Equally at home in a listening room as in a dingy honky tonk, which in practice means the same band can play a quiet ceremony at four and a packed dance floor at nine.
Both are the full band on the same night, one original and one cover, at a two step night in Brooklyn. Nothing is spliced in from another show. Your set gets built around your event, so send me the songs that matter to you and the ones that should never get played.
Pick your size
Every lineup carries its own sound system and runs its own sound, so you are not renting anything or hiring anybody else to make it work.

A duo is a great sound for smaller events looking for a bit fuller sound, great for dancing, but still want to keep a tight footprint. In addition to acoustic guitar, an upright bass, mandolin, fiddle, or steel guitar provide music that is uniquely well suited to country classics, while not being overbearing.

A trio strikes a great balance between energy and intimacy. The trio sound is something special, and brings more flavor to the songs. If you are looking to wow your guests, a trio is always a winner. In addition to upright bass and acoustic guitar, fiddle, steel guitar, mandolin, or acoustic lead guitar are uniquely well suited to this setup.

I come back with a firm price for your date and venue, travel already included. Nothing gets added on afterwards.
A simple agreement and a deposit hold the date. After that it is yours and I stop quoting it to anyone else.
Closer in we work out the timeline, the must play list, the do not play list, and your special request.

Questions
Sooner is better, particularly for spring and fall Saturdays, which tend to go early. That said, it is always worth asking about a close in date. Sometimes the calendar cooperates.
Yes, and most weddings do it that way. Ceremony, cocktail hour and reception can all be covered, and the lineup can change between them. A solo ceremony into a full band reception is a common shape.
One special request comes learned free with every booking. If you have a longer list of songs that matter to you, send it over and we will talk about it.
Power within reach of where we set up, and enough room for the lineup you booked. For outdoor events we need cover from sun and rain, since the gear does not care for either. If you are unsure whether your space works, send a photo and I will tell you straight.
No. Travel is already inside the number I quote you, mileage and lodging included where a date needs it. Nothing gets added afterwards. West Texas dates often cost less than people expect, because I am out that way regularly anyway.
Music keeps playing through our sound system, so the room never drops into silence between sets.
Originals, the classics, and a lot of country that never got radio play. It leans traditional rather than modern pop country. If you want a feel for it, the video above is a fair sample.
A simple agreement and a deposit. Once that is in, the date is yours and I take it off the calendar for everyone else.

Tell me what you know so far. Nothing here is binding, and a half filled form is fine if you are still working things out.
I read every one of these myself and usually answer within a day.
